Alumno commissioned poet Ira Lightman to write a piece telling the story of English equestrian performer and circus proprietor Pablo Fanque, who was born close to where Alumno’s Norwich building sits. Lightman’s poem runs to the tune of Beatles song ‘Being for the Benefit for Mr Kite’, and features as a poetry wall in the building atrium along with a Victorian zoetrope of a performing horse.
