Our Arts Consultant Matthew Jarratt had a productive zoom call with students from the Brighton Film and Screen School last week. Matthew gave the students an overview of his role as an arts consultant / curator and the projects he has helped Alumno with in the past. Concentrating on the Alumno Lewes Road scheme (Ravilious Hose) Matthew introduced the concept of a student photography competition along the theme of “Brightons Film History and Film Future”. It is hoped the students will be inspired to create artworks / photography for the competition. It is proposed that the eventual winners will have their work displayed in lightboxes in the foyer of the building.

BFSS also have lots of film artefacts which Matthew hopes to use in an installation within the building. We will keep you posted as the project progresses.
