On the 6th March, the Alumno team were invited to visit SPACE Studios new artists’ studios at Aspire Point in Stratford. This multipurpose development provides creative spaces for 30 artists in the local area of Stratford.

We were welcomed with a guided tour of the studios where we met and spoke to different artists about how they are finding the studios and what they are currently working on. It was great to see a variety of different works being created, from photography, painting, design and experimental works.

It was great to see the studios being used to their full potential and receiving positive feedback from the artists. The tour was followed by speeches with David Campbell saying ‘SPACE Studios really have been a great partner for us, we’ve done some of our best projects with SPACE. They have really made us rethink our approach, not just as a developer but also how we can encourage people in their transition from student to graduate.’ To see David’s full speech, click here.

The evening was concluded with celebratory drinks and the cutting of the Aspire Point Cake. The Alumno Team were thrilled to be a part of this mixed use scheme for students and artists to excel in their fields.
