Aimed at students from Warwick and Coventry Universities looking for term-time and vacation accommodation from September 2017, this high-quality, fully managed, safe and secure accommodation is located next to the picturesque Grand Union Canal in Leamington Spa and offers excellent transport facilities.
It’s also just under a mile south of Leamington Rail Station and is well served by the local road network. The Union Leamington offers 187 beds across two buildings, and students can choose from a studio room with private cooking and dining facilities, or ensuite rooms grouped in either: 4, 6, 7 or 8 bed clusters. Whilst all students will have their own bathroom facilities, the clusters will share a kitchen, dining and living room space.
The development boasts a modern, open common room with views of the canal. The external façade takes inspiration from other warehouse style canal side buildings, and students and visitors can enjoy landscaped areas fronting onto the Grand Union Canal, which will showcase public art works by ‘local lad’ Sir Terry Frost.
From a security perspective, both buildings will be served by a single central reception providing secure fob entry access. The site will be managed by a dedicated Property Manager from Monday to Friday during office hours and supported by maintenance and cleaning staff. At other times on-site wardens and an out-of-hours call centre will be available to deal with any emergencies.
