Proposed new student accommodation will add to exciting regeneration of historic area of London

The Low Line is a new walking destination for London along the length of the mighty Victorian rail viaducts spanning Bankside, London Bridge and Bermondsey. Alumno will be proud to contribute to this ongoing community initiative if planning is successfully granted for their new student accommodation scheme, providing housing for 260-270 students.

The triangle of land where the proposed development would be is at the junction of Rockingham and Tiverton Street and includes 3 of the adjacent railway viaduct arches. This site was granted planning permission for an office block in 2019 and the proposed Alumno scheme would be the same height as that building. Award winning architects Maccreanor Lavington have been engaged to come up with exciting designs for this unique area of London.

As well as the student accommodation there is potential for a new ground floor café or restaurant, alongside new planting and public art.
