It was this week in June 1961 that the new housing complex Park Hill was opened in Sheffield. In 1998 it was given Grade 2 * listed status. Between those times it has had a mixed history from being heralded as a new continental way of living to a no go area. Alumno have been proud to be major contributor in the continued renovation and improvement of Park Hill. Our student accommodation scheme Beton house opened its doors to students in September 2020. The “streets in the sky” lent itself beautifully to creating student accommodation. A great deal of thought and care was put into making Beton House a fantastic place for students to live. More details can be seen in our online booklet here
