The Park Hill estate is an iconic Grade II listed development, the largest listed structure in Europe, and a landmark on the Sheffield skyline.

As part of Phase 3 of the site’s redevelopment, Alumno is creating unique student accommodation for 356 students. Béton House will respect the existing heritage of the building, and plans will reference Le Corbusier’s Polychromie architectural colour palette, while retaining its existing mosaic elements where possible.

Alumno took local architecture students around the site and gave them talks on the history of the development. This was followed by lunch at the South Street Kitchen, which is already part of the Park Hill complex.
