Alumno team members Richard Syddall and Rebecca Dean were very happy to meet with students in their third year of study at Sheffield Hallam University. The students from the Department of the Natural and Built Environment enjoyed a talk by Richard on the history of Park Hill and how Alumno got involved in this iconic development. The students found this very useful to have a “real life” case study during their Development Module.
After Richard`s presentation the students completed a questionnaire asking what they were looking for in their accommodation focussing on the common areas. It was interesting to speak with the students in small groups to find out a bit more on their living experiences in halls of residence and private rented accommodation. Alumno left with some interesting insights into what makes for a happy and constructive student living experience.
A big thank you to all the students and to their lecturer Helen Reardon.
