Homes for Students, the facilities team at Beton House are as proactive and inclusive as ever ! On 1 November they launched an art competition open to residents. They have invited the students to create something that represents Beton House and the special student community they have built there. There will be an exhibition in the Beton House communal space on 1 December. The closing date is 25 November. Alumno has offered a cash prize to the winner and we are very excited to see the entries. We are sure the entrants will reflect the long history of the building that they are now a part of. Wishing everybody the best of luck !

And earlier this week students from the School of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University were given a tour of Beton House. No doubt they were impressed by the reuse and repurposing of this iconic brutalist masterpiece !
