Well-connected, purpose-built, fully managed development opens to serve local university communities.
Students from Warwick and Coventry Universities looking for term-time and vacation accommodation in 2017 now have the option of renting a room privately at a new purpose-built development, The Union Leamington.
This high-quality, fully managed, safe and secure home for students is located next to the picturesque Grand Union Canal in Leamington Spa and offers good transport facilities. The development is just under a mile south of Leamington Rail Station and is well served by the local road network. Warwick University is close by, with good travel connections to and from the campus. Meanwhile, Coventry University is also within easy reach by public transport.
The Union Leamington can accommodate up to 187 students, and features a mix of ensuite and non-ensuite rooms grouped in studio, five-bed and eight-bed clusters. The cluster flats feature communal leisure areas, along with a shared kitchen/dining room.
From a security perspective, the building has a single central reception providing secure access. The site will be managed by a dedicated Property Manager from Monday to Friday during office hours and supported by maintenance and cleaning staff. At other times on-site wardens and an out-of-hours call centre will be available to deal with any emergencies.
“We understand the importance of the whole student experience and the key part accommodation plays,” said David Campbell, managing director at Alumno. “Our mission is to create a secure and comfortable environment that supports student living and learning. We know going to university is not just about studying, but also about the complete experience of living away from home, making new friends and sharing with other people. We work hard to make this move as easy as possible by the facilities we provide and the team we employ on site.”
